NMA Issues 1500 Press Cards to News Media Publishers

The News Media Association has issued more than 1500 press cards to member local, regional and national publishers this year.

The press cards are nationally recognised and accepted by the police, and identify the bearer as a working journalist.

The NMA is one of the UK Press Card Authority gatekeepers and issues press cards to journalists and photographers working for the national or regional press. 

The NMA offers a variety of media facilities services to member publishers continuing the work of the Newspaper Society and Newspaper Publishers Association in these areas.

This includes issuing press cards to journalists, photographers and freelance newsgatherers, allocating passes under the royal rota scheme, and agency recognition,
