Digital Audiences and Revenue Up for Trinity Mirror
Trinity Mirror has reported an increase in digital audiences and revenues in a trading update this afternoon.
Digital revenues grew by 12 per cent year-on-year and average monthly unique users and page views growing year on year by 18 per cent and 26 per cent respectively for October and November, the publisher said.
Trinity Mirror said: “The Board now expects performance for the year to be marginally ahead of expectations.
“We are making good progress against our strategic initiatives and the business continues to deliver strong cash flows and will deliver the targeted structural cost savings of £20 million for the year.”
The publisher said the updated focused on the trading performance for Trinity Mirror excluding Local World because of the short period over which Local World has been under its ownership.
