47m Adults Read Newsbrands Every Month

More than 47 million adults read national and local news brands, according to the latest NRS PADD data.

Figures released yesterday for January to December 2015 show that newsbrands reach 91 per cent of adults each month.

Sixty eight per cent of GB adults aged 15 or over read a print newspaper and 74 per cent consume newsbrand content via their PC or mobile device.

On average, mobile adds a further 94 per cent audience reach to individual national newsbrand footprints.

Separately, the regional press ABCs published yesterday reveal that publishers reporting at a group level achieved a year-on-year rise of 32 per cent.
