Mail Advertising To Hire Dominic Williams As Chief Investment Officer

The Daily Mail’s advertising arm Mail Advertising has announced that Dominic Williams will join its leadership team as chief investment officer.

Mr Williams is currently chief trading officer at Dentsu Aegis Network and will report directly to chief revenue officer Clare Rush in his new role.

He will be responsible for creating new revenue streams and progressing Mail Advertising’s interaction between partners and customers.

Clare Rush said: “Our market is more complex than ever before with the potential for ad revenue growth influenced by issues from Brexit and Trump to ad trading and from brand to programmatic.

“It’s crucial that we have the right team and the right skills in place to face this changing landscape and deliver for our clients. In Dom we are gaining a talented and experienced leader who will add significant strength and knowledge to our already highly capable team.”

Mr Williams said: “Digital is transforming business for clients and MailOnline represents an amazing opportunity for data collection alongside editorial content that consumers are avid about. I am joining at a time when social trends are increasingly being used for clients’ advantage and the Mail, as the UK’s biggest news brand, is in a great position to do this.”
