MediaCom Edinburgh Briefed On Power Of Local Media

MediaCom Edinburgh is being briefed on the power of local media to deliver results for national advertisers during a Local Media Works strategy day in Edinburgh today.

LMW head of marketing Justin Fenton is holding an update session at the media agency in which planners will be briefed on the latest insights into local media such as the YouGov research published earlier this year.

Published in March, the survey found that local press in print and digital is the most trusted source for local news and information, way ahead of search engines and social media.

The update will also include briefings on Featurelink, JICREG, the gold standard audience currency for local media, and the Local Media Works Awards which planners have just two weeks left to enter.

That will be followed by a workshop for planners run by Justin.

The session is part of LMW’s programme of regular briefings for advertisers and media agencies.

LMW briefings this year have been held for key advertisers including the Cabinet Office and GSK.
