Local Media Works Creates Multiplatform Advertising Partnership For eToro
Local Media Works has created a six-figure multiplatform advertising partnership for eToro which kicked off this weekend.
Mirroring eToro’s existing partnerships with Premier League football clubs, the partnership will see advertising for the cryptocurrency trading platform running in local media titles across the UK over the next nine months.
The partnership involves the Brighton Argus, Southern Daily Echo, Leicester Mercury, Newcastle Chronicle, South Wales Argus, Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Echo and Bournemouth Daily Echo.
The deal is worth a six-figure sum to the local media industry. Part of the News Media Association, LMW is the home of marketing for local media.
Stephanie Wilks-Wiffen, eToro UK head of marketing, said: “Highly trusted local media is the perfect platform for our brand because of its unique and powerful connection with local communities and its role as a conduit between local football fans and their clubs.
“By working with Local Media Works on this partnership, we have been able to explore the full range of opportunities available to us through local media and create a bespoke multiplatform proposition which works for our business.”
Justin Fenton, LMW head of marketing, said: “This deal represents a significant investment into the local media industry by eToro and I am delighted to have been able to create a multiplatform partnership which will deliver real results for their business.
“It is the first time that Local Media Works has created a partnership of this size for a business which operates online and it just goes to show that local media, in print and digital, remains as relevant as ever for all advertisers.”
