Claudine Collins To Front Local Media Works Awards Ceremony

Claudine Collins, managing director of MediaCom UK, will be the headline speaker at the 2018 Local Media Works Awards which celebrate local media’s ability to connect national brands with local communities.

The BBC’s Apprentice interviewer, Ms Collins, facilitates better connections between media owners and clients at MediaCom UK and has regularly appeared in Campaign’s list of top ten media buyers.

The 2018 LMW Awards partnered with Subway and challenged media planners to come up with a campaign to promote Subway franchise opportunities and its importance as an employer in local communities.

The winners will be announced at the Awards celebration party next Wednesday (21 November) at the Hospital Club, where the overall prize of brunch with unlimited bubbles at the Shard will be won.

Ms Collins said: “I’m delighted to be a part of the Local Media Works Awards, championing local media as a trusted advertising medium. Local media reaches 42 million people in the UK and remains a vitally important channel for national advertisers to connect with local communities.
