Telegraph Media Group Reaches Subscriptions Milestone

Telegraph Media Group has surpassed the milestone of reaching 720,000 subscriptions, one of its key strategic goals for 2021, the publisher announced.

In 2018, TMG announced it was transforming its business to be subscription led, and set the strategic goal of reaching one million subscriptions by 2023.

Nick Hugh, TMG chief executive, said: “Reaching 720,000 subscriptions was a key ambition for 2021 and a testament to the excellent work of everyone at the Telegraph. I am delighted that we are making excellent progress towards our goal of one million subscriptions.

“We have a successful subscription business which has been transformed, moving to a paywall format and creating a much deeper connection with our active subscribers. Subscription figures are the key measure of our success, and across an industry which lacks subscription standardisation and transparency, TMG has led the way ensuring full transparency with independent, consistent monthly subscription reporting.”
