Michelle Donelan Appointed Culture Secretary
Former Education Secretary Michelle Donelan MP has been appointed Culture Secretary this week.
Ms Donelan was Education Secretary for just two days in July when she replaced Nadhim Zahawi MP, who was promoted to Chancellor, but she resigned less than 36 hours later as part of a spate of Ministerial resignations.
Prior to that she held roles in the Department for Education including Minister for Higher and Further Education and Minister for Universities.
Before entering politics, Ms Donelan worked in marketing at including Pacific Magazines in Australia, BSkyB’s History Channel in the UK, and World Wrestling Entertainment.
