kmfm and Discount Tile and Bathroom Warehouse partnered to deliver a record‑breaking Tonnes of Tins appeal across Kent, encouraging communities to support local food banks during rising demand. Running from July to August 2025, the campaign used trusted local media to raise awareness, inspire donations and deliver meaningful help countywide regionally.
Solution
kmfm delivered an integrated solution combining sustained on‑air promotion, digital display, press advertising and social media. Live presenter reads, targeted promo trails, and branded content drove engagement, while online and print activity extended reach. kmfm also coordinated logistics, managing collections and deliveries to sixteen food banks across Kent.
Results
The campaign achieved exceptional results, surpassing previous years. £11,696 was raised through JustGiving, ranking in the top five per cent nationally. Listener donations helped generate a record 11.1 tonnes of food. The partnership delivered extensive brand exposure across radio, digital, print and social platforms countywide.
