Ukraine CNJ Van
2022The Camden New Journal co-ordinated aid effort for Ukrainian refugees, with more than three tons of donations received in less than week.
The New Journal worked with readers, businesses and local organisations and helped deliver the donations to Poland.
Reporter Dan Carrier took the donations on a two-drive across Europe. The New Journal also interviewed some of the first refugees to arrive in Poland, including a couple who fled from Chernihiv.
People responded to our CNJ aid van appeal with such generosity. Here's @dannycarrier after the drive to the Polish/Ukraine border explaining how much your contributions helped.
