Local Media Works Awards Winners To Be Revealed

The winners of this year’s Local Media Works Awards will be revealed at the awards ceremony next Wednesday at which MediaCom UK managing director Claudine Collins will speak about the importance of local media for advertisers.

The winners of the seven awards categories – best original thinking, best strategy, best use of content, best use of local targeting, best use of JICREG, best use of Featurelink and best use of multi-platform – will be announced at the Hospital Club ceremony next week.

Claudine Collins will be the headline speaker and will talk about why local media is more important than ever in today’s fragmented and complex media landscape.

She said: “I’m delighted to be a part of the Local Media Works Awards, championing local media as a trusted advertising medium. Local media reaches 42 million people in the UK and remains a vitally important channel for national advertisers to connect with local communities.

The 2018 LMW awards, powered by JICREG, partnered with Subway and challenged media planners to come up with a campaign to promote Subway franchise opportunities and its importance as an employer in local communities.
