Digital Revenue and Audiences Up for Trinity Mirror

Trinity Mirror’s digital revenue and audience have increased over the past year, with digital display and transactional revenue growing by nearly a quarter.

In a trading update, the publisher said digital display and transactional revenue had grown by 24 per cent in Q3 2016compared to Q3 2015, with the digital audiences continuing to grow.

Overall, digital publishing revenue grew by 11 per cent although print revenues remained under pressure, the publisher said.   

Trinity Mirror said: “Although the trading environment has remained challenging during the third quarter of the year, our continued focus on growing digital revenue and driving efficiencies, provides the Board with confidence that profit for the year will be in line with market expectations.”
