Digital Powers Ad Revenue Growth For Mail Titles
Strong growth in digital has powered an increase in ad revenues across the Mail titles, according to new figures.
In a DMGT first quarter trading update published today, the publisher revealed that underlying advertising revenue growth of four per cent was achieved across dmg media.
A one per cent year-on-year decline in print ad revenues was more than offset by 10 per cent growth from digital.
MailOnline’s total revenues grew by an underlying 14 per cent, including the benefit of increased network licensing revenues for DailyMailTV.
dmg media’s results are for the 13 weeks to 30 December 2018 and are compared to the same thirteen week period of the prior year.
